What is PTE?

PTE stands for the Pearson Test of English. It is a computer-based English language proficiency exam designed to evaluate the English language skills of non-native English speakers. The test assesses a candidate's abilities in speaking, writing, reading, and listening in an academic context. PTE is widely accepted by universities, colleges, and governments around the world as proof of English proficiency for admissions, visas, and immigration purposes. The test is known for its accuracy, fairness, and security measures in assessing an individual's English language capabilities.

EXAM FORMAT

PTE General Overview

  • The PTE test evaluates four distinct parameters: Speaking, Writing, Reading, and Listening.
  • Module:
    1. PTE Academic - student visa & immigration
    2. PTE Core - immigration and citizenship in Canada
    3. UK Visa tests - UK study visa, work visa, settlement, or citizenship application.
  • PTE score is valid for 2 years.
  • PTE Exam slots are available every day (Except Sunday).
  • The PTE Exam is 2 hours long, and the result is available in 48 hours to 5 weeks.
  • PTE Score range from 10 - 90 bans each module and overall.
